Bhavan’s Cultural Centre SURUCHI KENDRA organized the second season of Dr.K.M.Munshi memorial Inter college drama competition on November 29,2022 at Maharana Pratap Auditorium, Jaipur.
The theme of the competition this year was “Drama based on Rajasthani folk tales” Three judges who are well known personalities from the theatre world of Jaipur judged the competition and declared the best performances. University Maharani College secured the first Position, SS Jain Subodh PG College secured second position and third position was bagged by Parishkar college of global excellence.
Besides the three positions awards were given for the Best Director-Dr Kapil Sharma, Best actor- Ms. Tanu Nathawat & Ms. Shreyanshi Mishra, Best content was bagged by Shri Subodh kachhawa.
All the participating teams were given an appreciation trophy as a mark of encouragement for participating in the competition.
The chief guest for the awards function was Shri Krishna Kalpit a well-known poet and author. On the day of the award function the play which stood first was staged again for the audience which included the students of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidyashram.
The convenor of the centre Shri Rajendra Bhanawat (IAS retd.) presided over the function and the consultant Smt. Priyadarshini Kachhwaha highlighted the activities of Suruchi Kendra besides throwing light on the personality of our founder and the ideals &Motto of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.
